Ingredients:

Bottom layer ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups of flour
  • 1/2 cup of white sugar
  • 3/4 cup of butter (I used olive oil butter and avocado butter on separate occasions to make this dairy free)

Top layer ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups of corn syrup (dark or light works)
  • 2/3 cups of brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup of flour
  • Splash of vanilla abstract
  • Dash of salt
  • 2 cups of pecans

Instructions:

Dairy-free Pecan Bars

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Ferin height
  • Take a 9X13 baking dish and line with parchment paper and lightly grease with cooking spray or oil
  • Mix together 1 3/4 cup of flour and white sugar with 3/4 cups of cold butter
  • mix the above for about 3 minutes or so until it looks coursed
  • Take your mixture and press to your baking dish and cook for about 20 minutes

Top layer preparation

  • While the above is baking; mix together flour, brown sugar, corn syrup and eggs well
  • Then add vanilla, salt and pecans
  • Let sit until the bottom layer is done baking
  • Once you remove the bottom layer from the oven and everything is mixed together add into the baking dish and let it cook for about 30-40 minutes
  • After baking put immediately in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours or over night
  • You can cut after it is refrigerated
